Bolt Mission

This is a terrible lock. It fails about 90% of the time and is a very bad product overall. The performance is unreliable, frustrating, and nowhere near what was advertised. On top of that, the customer service has been bad, and it took forever for the product to be delivered. After waiting so long, I expected much better, but this has been the biggest disappointment ever. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

The mechanism works well enough and wasn't difficult to install, but I bought this because of UWB, which only works intermittently with my iPhone. When I first pair it, it is a wonderful feature, but within a day it stops working and no longer recognizes my phone so I have to use a combination to get in. That defeats the whole purpose of having UWB and not worth the extra cost.

The mechanical install was easy. I was upgrading from an Ultraloq Bolt Pro. However, I am having connectivity issues. The setup for UWB was not intuitive, and the lock keeps disconnecting. I'm not sure if it's connected by WiFi or just bluetooth the my phone. I used my old bridge, but I think it needs Matter to work properly. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect it to Matter. It would be helpful if there was some indication on the app as to how it was connecting to my phone - bluetooth, bridge or matter. And also to make Matter work better.
