The "small" size is perfect for a home kitchen. I would say I use this board more than any of my others (except maybe my 8"x12" pairing/petty board). Very easy on knives. Great especially for "chop" cutting. If dragging the knife, I tend to prefer an End-Grain board. For general cutting, raw meats, etc., this is a great board! Easy to clean and kind to knives,

Bought primarily for butchery tasks and it’s fantastic! Stays secure on the counter even with aggressive cuts and is very easy on the knife edge. It’s also large enough that it never crowded as things are portioned out. Lastly, cleans up easily and so far no staining.
