Agrimontana Candied Lemon Peel Cubes

Not like they used to be

My new batch of these candied lemon cubes from Agrimontana are weirdly kind of firm and waxy, not at all like they were before, i.e. soft, moist, and sticky. The lemon flavor is also far more subdued. I still had some left over in my freezer from about two years ago, and those tasted much more lemon-y in comparison. I still like that they don't have any preservatives and are natural, and they'll work fine, but they're not the same. It should be noted I also ordered the candied citron, and those were glavorful, soft, and sticky, exactly as they were before.

So happy to find

I make fruitcakes every year, and the hardest part is finding good fruit, with good texture and flavor. Market Hall has the best fruit I’ve been able to find.

Excelent product

Peel tasted fresh and worked well in the cookie.
