The Dock is Exceptional

The Dock is exceptional. Humble, discreet, sturdy, and reliable. When I heard it was plastic, I was worried that it would feel cheap and temporary. The Dock is a product that feels like I will use for the life of the Controller.

Does what it says on the tin

Solid base and supports the Steam Controller and puck well. Definitely pricey, but the quality is way better than a plastic 3D print, so I don't regret spending a bit more for a proper dock.

Good design, middling execution

Ordered to support development and due to the advertized weighted base. The product arrived with a misaligned puck mount that wouldn't allow the controller to get in the proper position, but was easy to repair with a small screwdriver. More troublesome is the fact that the weight on the base is not sufficient for smooth one-handed separation in all cases, allowing the dock to be dragged magnetically by the puck unless the controller is taken off it with a particular motion to lever it off the puck first. The design idea is solid, but the product as it is is not worth the price if 3D printing is an option.
