I had high expectations since these were roasted on July 27 and rested for about 9 days before brewing. Unfortunately, these were some of the most disappointing espresso beans I’ve tried. I dialed them in with multiple grind adjustments, different brew ratios, and even manual pre-infusion, but every shot came out overwhelmingly bitter, flat, and lacking sweetness. The extraction never developed the rich crema or syrupy flow I normally get from freshly roasted beans. The coffee had very little aroma upon opening and honestly reminded me of beans that had been sitting in my cabinet for months. I couldn’t taste any of the advertised chocolate, nutty, or sweet notes. I don’t know if I received a bad batch or if these beans just aren’t for me, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t buy them again. The rest of the bag will be used as office drip coffee.

Very good quality coffee beans, great everyday drinking coffee and it was shipped really fast. Will definitely be buying some more coffee from Trade soon.
