Enso HD 6 Piece Knife Block Set

Great knives!

Really impressed with this set of Enso block set. Shipping was super fast, the knives out of the box are super sharp. Also appreciate the quality and durability (granted have only had them less than a month now). The handles are easy to grip and make cutting/chopping a breeze. Highly recommend!

Superb Knife Set

Mind you, I've only used this set for a couple weeks...but I work as a sushi chef & have since used these knives daily on various applications such as tuna, yellow tail, salmon, seabream, eel, and various vegetables. Knives are super sharp out of the box & the set offers diverse options for most needs in the kitchen. Tested the bread knife on a pineapple, cuts like a dream. Knives are designed well & are comfortable with double bevel handles. I'll write another review after 6 months & I'm sure it'll be just as positive. I love these knives. Service & shipping, stellar.

Enso HD + Cutlery & More = Outstanding product and service!

Perhaps like yourself, we dove into the deep rabbit hole better known as Japanese knives. After an embarrassing number of hours reading and watching videos, we firmly decided on a 6 piece Enso HD set. A set isn't what I originally had in mind, but this one contained everything that we would have ordered individually. All will be gladly and equally used. The service was outstanding. I ordered late on a Saturday evening, they were shipped first thing Monday morning, and they arrived to us the following afternoon. Flawless! With regard to the Enso HD knives themselves, we couldn't be more pleased. Not only are they stunningly beautiful, but the aesthetics match their functionality. There's no exaggeration when I say they're razor sharp right out of the box. No honing. No stropping. No wishing for more. We've put them through their paces since they arrived, and we couldn't be more pleased. They're simply wonderful! A few notes: The handles seemed slightly slippery when dry. I did a bit of reading about this as it relates to linen micarta, and the solution was simple. I washed them with warm soapy water using a blue scrubby sponge. That did the trick and didn't change the color or anything else. The other thing that I'd toss out there is to use an edge grain cutting board. It'll provide the edge of your new knives a tremendous favor.  We were so excited to make the switch over to Japanese knives, that we had our last name engraved and lacquered into the edge of our cutting board using Japanese characters. ;-) Time and usage will ultimately tell the tale of durability, but our experience thus far with both the Enso HD series and Cuttery & More has been superb. Because of that, we will be loyal to C&M with future purchases.
