Everett Pants & Shorts PDF pattern

Love these shorts

Made my size pretty much as indicated. Had to make some crotch adjustments along the way but then these fit great. Love the full bum piece, that was the magic. Who knew?? Can't wait to make the pants next! Thanks Jenny and team.

So Pleased!

I have made two pairs of Everett shorts, one with cuffs from a chambray, one without cuffs and lengthened inseam of 6” from a cotton linen blend, neither pairs with belt loop or belt. These shorts fit me perfectly, I did not have to make any adjustments to the rise or crotch curve, amazing! I measure into a 16 waist & 14 hip, but the straight size 14 with a longer piece of elastic worked perfectly. I love the deep front pockets and the interesting bands on the pockets. the cuffs look nice, but I prefer my shorts without for ease of construction and less ironing. There will be many more Everett pants and shorts to come, this pattern has become my tried and true fully elasticized waist pant pattern!

I made pants!

I was a bit skeptical that the Everett pants would fit me without lots of adjustments so I compared my measurements with the finished garment measurements. I shortened the leg and gave myself more ease in the elastic. The pants fit! I am now a fan and have dug into my stash to make more summer pants and then I'll be sewing pants for the fall.
