Cedar Dolman Top 12-32 PDF pattern

Very easy for a confident beginner like me--very flattering fit!

I made the version without the ties in the front, so it was pretty quick and easy. My one problem was tracing the pattern of the neckline facing. I got both the back and the front of it wrong, and didn't notice before I cut the fabric (my own fault I didn't check first, but it was very hard to see what lines belonged to what size). Luckily I have more fabric. This is my second Cashmerette pattern, and I love the way the garments look on me--very flattering! It helps to be able to pick out a pattern with a cup size! I'm definitely going to try other Cashmerette patterns.

Wonderful design and a quick sew

This top is so simple, but well designed. I usually tend toward more complex patterns but I'm so glad I have this one a try. It's such a great way to use a beautiful fabric and really let it shine. I plan to make many more as this will be a great wardrobe staple for me.

Made this twice

I’m a beginner at sewing clothes. This is the first piece of clothing I’ve sewed that I actually wear. I’ve made it twice so far. I love the neck facing. It adds such a pretty detail and was a great technique for a beginner to finish a neckline.
