I made the midi version of Take-the-Chance Shirtdress in a cotton print and it's brilliant. It went together beautifully, partly because the instructions are so good. Thanks so much for this pattern. I would love to know if anyone has made it in lightweight (6 oz) denim. I'm thinking of two deep tiers, possibly narrower, to limit bulk. Thoughts anyone?

I love this pattern. I've made it more than once but I don't wear dresses much so I shortened it into a shirt. I've gotten so many lovely compliments on them, and I want to sew 10 more.

So very flattering and versatile!

I'm tall and long waisted, and with only a minor torso adjustment, this pattern fits perfectly! I usually have to do a full bicep adjustment but I just used the wider sleeve option; I also usually do a swayback adjustment but didn't need to either. Made my first dress out of quilting cotton and my husband has said multiple times that it's his favorite of the dresses I've made. This pattern will be on repeat for sure!
