No.8 Cast Iron Skillet, Factory Second

For a factory seconds, both the skillet and lid were in great condition. Im very impressed with the quality of manufacturing from Field Co. excellent product at a more than fair price!

Very happy with my number 8 factory second skillet

I'm not sure what the blemish is, but it certainly isn't an inability to turn out a very nice grilled cheese sandwich; nicely browned Tuscan bread, and scrumptious along side homemade tomato soup. I love cooking on cast iron, and this skillet has a good weight to it.

Great pan

The description read: “Factory Second” but the pan looks great! I’m cooking veggies in Olive Oil or a vegan “butter” in order to build up seasoning, and the pan is is a little darker as the days go by. I’m not cooking eggs yet for a while. I would recommend Field Cast Iron to anyone that asks about it!! I’d also recommend “Factory seconds”!!
