Nice if you want a very basic plan. There are better plans that address the specifics of trail ultras. I have decided to go with an online (real person) coach who can take into account my age, and the nature of the course I intend to run.

Running plan works great for me
I’ve bought a slightly different plan years ago and thought it worked well for me then. I’ve tried different training plans and coaching in the years since and have always had issues, but I’ve come back to their plans and started training for a summer ultra and remember why I enjoy their plan and structure so much. I like that some workouts have range of miles, the strength plans are easy at home workouts and I find the progression and total miles in this plan more than suitable to go out and have a fun race. I’ve printed out the pages I need and posted this on my fridge as a calendar and tangible plan to cross workouts out and track miles and vert manually each week. Very happy with my purchase. One week down, 14 to go!

Great plan.
Absolutely loving this 50k plan. Easy to follow, lots of advice in the pack. I'm enjoying the steady increase in distance rather than, as other plans I've followed, a rapid increase. Really looking forward to putting the training into practice.
