It came the day that I had a lot of chafing from a 13 mile run, using it in combination with good recovery practices helped reduce the recovery by half.

Best anti-blister product I’ve used

Last year, I spent 2 weeks in Spain, walking 8-10 miles a day on city streets. From day 5 on, I had terrible blisters, despite wearing “good” shoes that fit me with merino-blend socks. Before this year’s trip to Spain, I discovered Salty Britches. I used it every day, applying it a second time when we came back to the room for a while in the heat of the afternoon. Fourteen days, more than 100 miles of walking and NO blisters. I won’t travel without it!

Works Very Well

I have been using Salty Britches for ultramarathons for over a year. For most races, I simply apply before the race and forget about it. On especially hot and humid days or on days when it is raining, I may need to apply a second or third time. The only minor complaint is that it leaves an odor on some tech clothing, presumably because it doesn't wash out completely when doing laundry.
