Cold weather Running
Very impressed with the Salty Britches Skin Barrier. We’ve had the coldest winter in Ohio since 1977 and I haven’t ran on the dread mill yet. Using SB Skin Barrier I’ve logged 30-40 miles of running a week including a 50K, all out side with temps below zero and single digits without any chapping or wind burn on my face!

Rudolph Nose
Over the last two seasons of fall and winter cycling I've been experiencing nose/nostril irritation. From blowing and a runny nose while cycling. Leaving me with a red irritated nose post ride. I've recently began using Salty Britches Winter Skin Ointment prior to my rides. It has all but eliminated my issue. I'm beyond satisfied and would highly recommend!

A Story from the Long Haul 100 miler
Salty Britches is my go-to for chafing protection and the winter version completes the lineup. The conditions for the 2023 Long Haul 100 mile trail race were unusually cold. I had my Salty Britches winter ointment and was having no issues. I applied one time and it protected me for the entire time I was out running on the trail. My buddy was using another "well known brand" and he kept having to re-apply. The problem is that his Nut Butter kept freezing and he couldn't get it out of the container. He asked a friendly spectator if he could warm his nut butter by their fire and they said sure. He came back around on the next loop, grabbed it from the warming fire and by the time he opened it and tried to apply, it was frozen again. I finally told him to use my Salty Britches winter ointment. Because it is in a tube, there was no problem with us sharing. It was not frozen and he was able to apply it and never had another issue. If you aren't using Salty Britches, you are doing yourself a disservice.
