We have a new fan favorite in our home the ayocote morado offers a perfect blend of taste and texture. This creamy bean will warm your hearts and is the much needed item in your pantry. Just a little cumin, garlic powder, Bay leaf, salt and chopped onion and bean perfection is accomplished. Thank you Masienda for the introduction to this miraculous legume.

A lovely heritage bean, that will become a staple in our kitchen. It is a meaty bean that takes a little longer to cook than Pinto beans. With minimal seasonings of cumin, Bay leaf, garlic powder and chopped onion and salt you have bean perfection.
