Press arrived in a few days after ordering. Masienda now has a specially made box that the press was packed in which protects it from shipping damage, not that the presses are easily damaged anyway. I had ordered a larger tortilla press from them in the past and it had not much padding except for some brown Kraft paper. Looking forward to breaking it in.
