Demeyere Atlantis cookware are amazing tools for the home chef. From the way they look and feel to the perfection in heat distribution, their durability and though it may seem to be a small thing, the feature I notice after every use is the rivet-less surface inside the pans. This makes cleanup such an easy task. Especially for skillets and smaller pans, where rivets tend to collect hard-to clean baked in grease. The even heat distribution of these pans, I find, make cooking easier and produce a better result. Cast iron pans have hot spots that require attention, moving the food around to prevent scorching in the hot areas. This is true even for higher priced ceramic cast iron pans that cost as much as Demeyere Atlantis. I use Demeyere pans every day and they look and feel as new as they were on the first day. This set was purchased for a younger niece and I'm sure the set will last her lifetime. I'm a big fan of this brand. The engineering, quality, fit and finish are amazing.
