Great combination of sizes

I have previously frozen portions of food for later use, but these trays are far superior to the odds and ends containers I previously used. They stack well in the freezer and once the cubes are popped out and put in a larger zip lock - they still pack better in the freezer. The portion sizing works great and they are easy to pop out of the silicone container. Very happy customer.

Can't I just freeze stuff in other storage contraptions?

I was hesitant to purchase these, because, can't I just freeze stuff in other storage contraptions? The answer is, yes, of course I can freeze stuff in other contraptions, BUT these trays are already marked with measurements, have very secure lids that stay in place, are sturdy standing on their own AND come in a variety of very cool colors! I chose the turquoise/aqua as they go well with my kitchen decor, in case you're interested. I don't for a moment hesitate to recommend this storage system. Handy, pretty, substantial and they actually work. Such a wonderful invention! Kudos!!
