This is a very well thought out system to hot wax your chain. The heating pot and hanger feel like quality items. The instructions are ok but don’t really say how long to immerse your chain if you’re not using the degreasing tablets. They also didn’t really say how long it was ames the wax to melt in the pot. I went with the recommended 75deg but it hadn’t fully melted after about 20 mins so i increased the temp to 85 and then lowered it to 75 to dip chain. I left mine for - 5 mins and it seems ok. I guess we’ll see how long it lasts. It is just great keeping clean hands when fitting the chain. After watching few videos I ran mine round some plastic conduit to loosen it before fitting - definitely recommend doing that. Overall, very very happy.

Quick to set up, easy to use, great results so far and my drivetrain is running quiet and smooth. Will be testing the endurance chip next!

Good, but too small, and too expensive.
The system where you can loop a wire through the chain and then hang it to dry works well. I’ve used a BBQ skewer to stop that handle falling in the wax, which also works well but feels like it could have been better thought out. Two things mean I only give this three stars though. First, the pan is too small. It’s a faff to get the whole chain in there when it’s on the hanger. A square, longer basin would be much easer. Second, the price. It’s nicely enough made, but £100 (or £85 with the discount I got) is far too much for a glorified rice cooker. And my £25 rice cooker has a much more appropriately sized bowl.
