Works Better Than Expected
For years I never considered chain waxing because I didn't want to go through the trouble of the master link. Several friends started waxing so I looked into it again. With chains now having Quick Links or Powerlocks, chain removal and replacement is no longer an issue. Waxed chains are amazing. My Di2 road bike shifts much smoother but the big difference I noticed was with my triple ring Tandem. The Tandem never shifted great but after waxing the chain I can tell a difference. One advice is go to YouTube for videos of separating and re-connecting Quick Links. I didn't know Shimano links have arrow for the chain direction.

So far so good. Waxed 2 new MTB chains using the strip chip. Easy to do and shifting is great. Also cleaned and degreased a couple gravel bike chains also fairly easy to do then waxed those as well. Really no hassle at all. I fully recommend this system.
