Great idea, but the alignment of the hex shaped bar doesn’t work with the v-shaped jaws of my repair stand; with the bike hanging down the v of the jaws tightens against the flat of the bar, causing the bike to flip either 30 degrees inboard or 30 degrees outboard as soon as you try working on it. I’ll either have to try and engineer some kind of accommodation or buy a new stand. Would be nice if it just came with some adapters to make the bar effectively round in the clamp area

Wish I had this years ago. Makes my work stand functional. Can actually work on all of the bike in one position.

Although this frame clamp is extremely expensive; it’s worth not inadvertently clamping and cracking a carbon frame or post. It seams that most carbon repairs occur due to clamping carbon too tightly in a bike stand. We are happy that we made this investment.
