Works really well and removes all of that pre processing on a new chain. Is it better than degreasing? I don't know, but being able to just dunk a new chain into the wax pot saved a lot of time.

Worked as intended. Fresh waxed chain installed and drivetrain is silent once again. Will see how far the silence reigns
