Ellis backpack
Bought this online after reading reviews.
The good:
- right size for an 8 year old.
- good sized pockets
- several different compartments for storage
- seems well constructed.
The not so great:
-Material feels pretty stiff
-Zippers not that smooth. hoping this breaks in.
-Biggest issue - laptop compartment is poorly padded, especially on the bottom. This backpack is marketed for kids. If they have a laptop in the backpack and drop it on the bottom as kids often do, the laptop is at risk of cracking the screen from impact on a corner.
How do I know you might ask? Well, I've done it to my own laptop and a iPad, even with protective cases in place.
