Love my Karu 2! Still learning how to get that crispy crust, but the oven is great. Compact and sturdy. Thinking of opening a pizza shop!

Expensive hobby and heat loss issues

It’s an expensive investment, then you need an expensive table then you need gloves then you need a peel then you need a two gauge as the one on the over doesn’t seem to register correct, then you need the wood. First time I went through almost half the box of expensive wood from Ooni. Pizza was burnt, tried two times and it wasn’t even all the way in the red after two hours of heating up. I will change ratings if my experience gets better. Biggest issue I have is the wood/ coal box drains seem to fit well so it quickly looses heat and you have to add more wood????

The oven is easy to store, clean, and put together. It is not so easy to get the temp up to 900, but with practice . . . . . . overall very happy with my package.
