Ooni Koda 16 Gas Powered Pizza Oven - 1st Generation

This was a replacement because the thermocouple on our first oven gave out after a few years and hundreds of pizzas. Ooni’s customer service team was top notch in helping us out and getting a new oven. The gas setup is convenient and gets to almost 900F quickly. Very happy with the setup, and even happier with the quality of the company.

Take your pizza making to the master level

The Ooni has been a revelation in my pizza making journey. It is truly a brilliant piece of equipment that enhances everything I do around it. From making the best pizzas to pitas and flat breads. All I can say is if you are considering the Koda 16 stop thinking about it and get it!!!

Efficient but hard to dial in

Love the build quality and power of the burners. Set up was easy. I wish the three legs would “click” into place — the unit is heavy and when you move it the legs flop into awkward portions and it’s tricky to set down. In terms of cooking pizza - there is quite a learning curve. I cook a more NY-style slice and it’s easy to go from undercooked to burnt in seconds. Yes - I’ve watched the tutorials, talked to others, and experimented - but it definitely takes practice.
