Used briefly over Christmas to carve a roast and a ham. Very nice weight and balance and comfortable handle.

Excellent Carving Knife

I've used a carving knife from a quality knife set for years. Even though I sharpened the knife twice a year, I felt I was shredding the turkey and chicken instead of slicing it. Based on reviews, I decided to try the Avanta carving set and couldn't be happier. The knife cut through the turkey like butter, and I easily created thin, clean slices. I highly recommend this set.

Exchanged items

I returned these items when I learned from the packaging labels that they were made in China. They are probably the best knive made there but I wanted German craftsmanship. Their customer service was the best I've ever experienced anywhere. I exchanged They ensured me that my first responder discount would still apply to the new set and it did. They did not charge for shipping on the exchange. Ali contacted me multiple times to ensure I was updated and satisfied. Great company. My new knives are awesome!
