Solid Utility Knife

I'm actually quite enjoying this knife. It's got a fairly substantive handle, which I appreciate as often the handles on utility knives are small and uncomfortable. If I had to nitpick, there are two less than ideal things about Messermeister Oliva. 1. The blades do scratch very easily, not a big deal to me as functionality is the name of the game, but it is something to note. 2. The handles are raw wood. Typically for a knife like this it would make more sense to use stabilized wood or at least put a finish on it. But again, not a huge a deal to me as taking care of wood cooking utensils is normal part of my kitchen life. Otherwise, great knives and still worthy of 5 stars. It came razor sharp and with a little honing, has stayed nice and sharp. It's a solid knife and enjoyable to use.
