Henson AL13 in Copper

Love my Henson

I bought one a couple years ago. I'm in my 60s with a couple scars earned along the way. The Henson gives me a great shave without cuts. It works easily. The second one I just received is a gift for my son. He works in the petroleum industry where he needs to shave every day. I wish he enjoys his as much as I do mine. I ordered the shaving cream for both of us. Loving it too.

Works better than expected

First of all, thank you for not asking me to review this as soon as I received it. When I was doing my research for a safety razor I wish I paid more attention to Henson but the lack of a female perspective left me in doubt (idea: have the ability to go through reviews based on gender/preference. I got fed up going through all of the pages of reviews to find a female perspective). So I ended up buying an expensing German safety razor that I cut myself with on a regular basis. After this I decided to try Henson and it is night and day difference! I have yet to cut myself with this razor and it works beautifully. In a perfect world the handle would be longer but it is not a dealbreaker. Just wish I bought the stand when I purchased the razor.

Top Tier Razor

I moved to Henson from an older Merkur razor and can safely say that I am pleased with the switch. The lighter weight and sharper blade angle really make a difference. I find that every safety razor has its own learning curve, but here, the transition was effortless. Thank you Henson for designing such a quality product!
