Great shave
I was skeptical about this razor when I picked it up- it felt so light! How could this give me a great shave. I have two other disposable blade razors- one for travel and one for home. I won;t toss them yet, but happy to bring this one wherever I go

I shouldn't have been scared to try it
I shouldn't have been scared to try the Henson Razor. This thing absolutely changed my life. I've tried four or five different brands of straight razors because I love a clean-shaven face and I am also bald and I love a clean-shaven head. I've been using somewhat expensive safety razors and I looked back at my annual cost and it far exceeded the Henson Razor. I saw ads for roughly six months before I pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. There is a bit of a learning curve with how you should hold it because the safety razor is fairly forgiving on how you hold it but once you get the right angle, this thing is magical

The razor handle is gorgeous. True to advertising, it seems highly machined and made to precise specifications.
Sadly, however, the razor simply doesn’t follow the contours of my face.
As long as it’s cutting on a straight surface, it cuts great! However, as soon as it meets any curve of my face, such as around my chin, it just leaves large patches of stubble behind that I have to keep going over and over.
I have now tried it several times to see if I justneeded practice, but it has yet to shave me cleanly.
I’m out $100 and going back to my old-fashioned razor with a head that automatically pivots as it reaches curves.
I really really liked the idea of an independent shaving company, but it simply doesn’t work for my face.
