I thought they wouldn’t cut as close as traditional clippers but they do, and safely. Also only like one nail sliver was ejected while cutting both mine and my daughter’s nails, so their claim that the nails are kept neatly in that little compartment held up in my opinion. They’re a little pricey, but I think they’re worth it just for the safety features. The cool aesthetic and nail storage are just the cherries on top. For me, they did a perfect job.
