Henson Shaving AL13 Copper Aluminum Double Edge Safety Razor

Great experience

I have wanted to see what all the fuss about the Henson AL13 was all about, and I heard it was pretty mild, so i ordered the ++ plate. it is my first aluminum razor and very light. It took a couple of shaves to learn the correct pressure. But it is now my daily driver. The Razor Company handled everything like a champ, shipping came early, price point was loest around and their customer service is top notch. I even called and talked to them about adding a SS handle to give my Henson some weight. They talked me thru my decisions, and i am more than happy that I chose to keep it stock.

Good Design and Light Weight

You can't go wrong with this, or you won't get the effective shave. Not curve, just same straight angle every time - blade don't wiggle like the fancy disposable. Definitely beginner friendly.

No longer terrified of DE razor!

Since the early 80's I attempted to use my Dad's DE razor-you know the so called safety razor. After using up a couple stiptic pens I fortunately found a cartridge razor. Well here I am at 58 and sort of peeved a large conglomerate of health and beauty products doesn't want to make dbl bladed cartridges anymore. Well, an ad I ran across on a YouTube caused me to study the product and I being an engineer said well duh why hasn't someone thought of that before and I ordered one. I was very anxious at first but now two weeks in on the first blade and I am getting more confident daily. No nicks or burn yet!!!!! If you have ever been afraid to try a Double Edge razor You don't have to fear this one.
