Il rasoio è stupendo. Rifinito in maniera impeccabile. La versione lucida ha solo il cap interno lucidato ma nella parte centrale è grezzo volutamente. Il resto è a specchio. Purtroppo le tasse doganali sono alte...considerate un +30%. Ma il rasoio è unico nel suo genere. Grazie

Titanium version needs a lighter touch - results ina smooth and comfortable shave

I have the same razor with the same base plate in polished stainless steel. This review is the one for the titanium version of that razor. Surprisingly the stainless steel version turned out to be easier to use - the weight of the razor allowed me to have a close shave without having to exert any pressure. In the case of the titanium version, I ended up with a small nick just under my nose because I was pressing down as the razor is very light. I was using Persona blades and the next two times, I was able to get a close shave without any nicks or cuts. The base plate, while being mild, is also very efficient - I usually end my shaving with just a pass and a half - the half pass being along the usual problem areas around the chin, lip and nose. The plate has very large openings to allow the lather and hair to slip through without clogging up the razor. When using the titanium version. one has to be a bit careful of not pressing down too hard - just let the razor glide across your face and you will be rewarded with a close shave. I would compare the mild plate to a Henson titanium medium or to a Timeless titanium 0.95 - I have both of those and all three razors are part of my rotation - I usually use one razor for the entire week before switching to another one for the next week and so on. I am very happy with this purchase - the stainless steel version is like being on autopilot, the titanium version needs a lighter touch - both are excellent with the mild plate.
