Great dress

Fantastic dress. Muslin came together very easily and I plan to sew it in a variety of fabrics. I noticed it has slopier shoulders than the Claudia and Jessica dresses, which is a plus for very slope-shouldered me: I did not have to adjust and it was perfect straight off. But if you have very square shoulders, be aware you may need an adjustment the other way. (Sinclair say on their blog that their shoulder slopes vary between 16 and 22 degrees, and this one must be on the high side.)

I love princess seam knit dresses with pockets, and try to find them ready made when not in style. So back to sewing! For me the hardest part was the gluing and taping together the print out. I'm not great at that kind of thing. I would probably rather purchase a printed pattern and wait for delivery! I really appreciated all the tutorials and hints for sewing with knits and invested in the knit interfacing and transparent elastic. The instructions were easy to follow. I prefer a higher neckline, and will be adjusting the pattern to something more like the Noon pleated knit top pattern, which I also purchased during a sale. I also added length, because I like the midi or almost maxi length. That worked fine. All in all, I highly recommend Sinclair patterns now. I will be making this dress again and again. Looking forward to trying the Noon top as well. Thanks so much!
