Violet ruched front accent top, tunic and dress for knit fabrics (PDF)

Fun top!

I had an assignment to make a top with ruching, and I chose the Violet top. I had a little trouble with the ruching because my fabric was so stretchy, but the top came out wonderful and I have received many compliments on it. If I made it again, I would choose to have a less stretchy material for the ruching.

Beautiful Pattern

I selected to make a dress out of a lovely ITY fabric I had in my stash and absolutely love how it turned out. I made a size 12 petite and the only change I made to the pattern was a 1/2 inch swayback adjustment. It went together beautifully. I will defiantly make another one.

Stunning Ruched Neckline

I love this Stunning Neckline and that it come together so fast..Fun to make....the ruched front was very easy to do with the detailed instructions that come with the pattern also that this pattern can be matched with some of the other Sinclair patterns ..... I was able to add the Nyoka full length skirt for a no gather finish at the waistline and also on another dress I was able to add the Valley Skater add on Handkerchief skirt ...I highly recommend Sinclair Patterns ..the instructions very well written that this pattern would be suitable for beginners through to the advanced sewer
