Fabulous jeans pattern
This is a super pattern with lots of options for variation. I've just finished my second pair of size 10, wide-legged, mid-rise jeans. Instructions are great; I successfully constructed my first ever fly front zipper from the written instructions alone, no need to YouTube video it! I did make modifications. I'm just shy of 5' 2" so chopped off a fair bit from the length and the mid-rise ended up high-waisted on me. However, I like the look, so I curved the waist-band to make it fit better at the waist. Being short I felt the leg width swamped me, so I removed 1.5 cm from the inside leg on all leg pieces which made it more balanced. I also increased the size of the inside pocket bags by 5cm to make them 2.5cm wider. I am a fan of big pockets. I have just finished my second pair, so now have both denim jeans and an olive cotton twill version. Thumbs up all round.

Staple jeans
I've made hard pants before, but this is the first jeans pattern I've purchased. I found the instructions easy to follow, but what I'm in awe with is the fit. The first pair I made fit me like a glove on the first try. I actually made a toile which is not in my photos here, because it doesn't have topstitching, but apparently I could have jumped straight to the good fabric. The only mod I made is that I added adjustable straps at the waist for more versatility.

Frank Jeans Mid-Rise
I am finishing up on my Frank jeans today. I love the fit. I made the straight leg mid rise. I did lengthen the pocket bags. I did flat-fell seams for the first time thanks to Nisan's great instructions. Will be making another pair with barrel leg. Thanks.
