Jenna Shirt + Shirtdress

Great pattern!

I've been searching for a menswear-inspired button-up shirt pattern with traditional details -- a collar stand, tower placket, etc. -- and found it here. The instructions are good, and although I've never sewn a collar and stand this way before (and I've been sewing for 50+ years), the results were great. I won't go back to the "easy" way that commercial patterns use. I'll be making this shirt again and again. Thank you!

A beautiful pattern. A small pleat in the back would elevate it but everything else was perfect detailing. Made it in a green and white stripe seersucker for my DIL and now friends are placing orders 😉

i made a wearable toile in a cheap cotton fabric, I loved the seam finishes, it really added another element to the shirt, I found some elements a bit tricky, but read twice and sewed once, I messed up a tiny bit on the button placement of the cuff, but was very proud of myself for finishing it, and I have been wearing it a lot. I now have some good quality fabric washed and ready to make my second one ,although I am going to size down, as I want it a tiny bit more fitted round the shoulders. Its a very versitile pattern, and can see it becoming a yearly make. This was my 1st closet core pattern, and the fit was excellent on me. Im 5ft 8 and a size 18 - 20 (UK)
