Iris Tunic
The Iris raglan top/ dress is a fun pattern and such a quick sew! I love the swing style, that means i don't have to grade to a bigger size on the hips. I've only made a tunic but will be making some tops and a dress for during the warmer summer months. With the different sleeve and length options you can make many different garments, which is always a plus.

Fabulous for pear shaped bodies
I find this pattern superb for anyone who is bigger around the bum/hips than they are at the top. It saves having to blend sizes if you want a normal fitting top. I have a huge 5 size difference between bust/waist measurement and hips measurement and most normal patterns just aren't designed for that amount of difference. With the fit/flare design of the Iris, I can make a t-shirt that fits like a regular t-shirt without having to blend sizes at all. I can use the measurements for my bust/waist and because of the extra width at the bottom it fits perfectly

Petite option saved my sewing!
In the past I’ve had to make so many alterations on each pattern that I give up …& was near to giving up sewing completely. Then I bought this pattern because, and only because it had a petite option. Perfect! I have a wearable toile, no alterations whatsoever! The 2nd one I made in a stretch velvet, I did lower the armhole by half an inch which made it much more comfortable. I’m enthusiastic about sewing again now and have just ordered 2 more patterns, purely due to the petite option. I’d love to see a few different patterns, maybe woven or more form fitting dresses but please, keep up with the petite!
