Balance It® Canine K Plus

I like set up of your web site and the features are great. At first glance, options seem endless. But I find some options very limiting or just confusing. For example, I can't type in certain organs for recipes but then I can use canned jellies cranberry all contain corn syrup or bread. Which seems odd to me. My dogs are not really liking the taste of the food once I add the vitamin mixture and alot of the measurements seem alot for the recipe amount. Any juice I add turns milky white and not palpable. My dogs are not very picky eaters I bought 2 packs of vitamins, one for my kidney issues, the other regular. And Sometimes I get a recipe for a type of vitamin pack I dont have. Most of the big batches require human supplements which I have to buy and dont have many options in store or Costco close by. Also I'm spending 160 bucks for vitamins i shouldn't have to purchase anything else. I like the option for human vitamins but the amount seem alot i don't know if they will taste anybetter to my dogs. I try to add more ingredients to lessen the amount of vitamins but they never seem to balance out. Most of the recipes I have made are from my other pet because of lack of options. So I have been mixing his kibble with the homemade but I never know if he's going to eat it and trying to calculate all that is kind of a pain. I like the idea of it but the results are just not where they need to be. My vitamins expire in August, so maybe I'll try the human vitamins and better luck. I don't think it's a bad product maybe it's just not for me. Im not sure if I will repurchase yet. I'm sorry I do know that nutritionist are expensive but the price for talking to one is unreal to me and none are remotely close to my area on your site. Maybe if I got like free starter session. I would be more apt to purchase more but I don't like paying for something with out knowing a little bit about it at the price point. Thank you for your time

Disappointed

I am very disappointed with Balance It, in particular with my dog's rejection of two of the recipes. I have reached out to customer service begging for personal human contact but apparently, despite the great cost of their products to customers, they do not include this as a service. I have many questions and concerns that would turn into a dissertation if I wrote them up in an email, which is the only form of communication they will have with customers. Also, waiting for 5 days for an email response is hardly reasonable given that my kidney disease diet dog--on the Balance IT diet--is not eating the Balance It recipes at all. She cannot afford the loss in calories so she is now eating her sister's food with a higher percent of protein content. Obviously, this is not ideal. I am currently exploring other options for my dog's dietary needs.
