Thai Tea Whey Protein

Just not for me

I love thai tea, so I was very excited to try this one. When I prepared it, it looked like thai tea (although light in color) and it definitely smelled floral. Did not have high expectations and when I tasted it had the floral aftertaste that I personally do not like. I tried so hard to ignore the floral taste, but could not. I am still drinking it coz it still gives me 25g protein but will not be re ordering, unless the flavor is fixed.

The joy of Thai Tea

I LOVE Thai Tea! I was wondering how Boba Tea Protein would pull off the Thai Tea flavor for their whey protein and they delivered! I generally mix it with milk and blueberries or sometimes strawberry instead (just depends on what fruit I have on hand). Tastes great and is smooth!

I was very surprised how large the product is. I did not realize it is over a pound! The flavor is not a strong Thai tea flavor so if that is what you are searching for, you may be disappointed. However, I think the flavor is still good. I have only tried mixing it with water or whole milk so far. I definitely prefer it with milk over water, but it wasn't bad with water. I decided to give it a try to be able to have something to start my mornings with that would keep me content since my work days start off pretty busy and I don't always get to stop and eat. I have been able to stay satiated for the first half of my morning so that alone makes me really happy with this product. I am looking forward to trying the other flavors when I finish this bag!
