Vietnamese Coffee Whey Protein

It makes me so sad that they changed the formula for this. I don't like the flavor. I couldn't even tell you what it is. It doesn't taste like a Vietnamese coffee anymore. In fact, I can't really taste the coffee at all. This was the only flavor I liked enough to have every day, but I'm going to have to cancel my subscription. I don't even know if I will finish the bag I have. I know they changed it because people were complaining that the previous flavor was too strong, so I hope that other people enjoy it. Just not for me.

Unfortunate caffeine change

As a subscriber of the Vietnamese coffee, this’ll be my last order. With the recent caffeine change from 112mg to now 70mg, about 40% decrease, I was ensured by Ivan, the CS Lead, that the flavor will still be bold. Man, was I let down! I don’t know who’s drinking two servings of Vietnamese coffee protein to drive this change. I think it may be supplier issues really, but the taste went from a strong bold flavor to now lacking any taste. There’s no strong robusta flavor that we love about Vietnamese coffee. It now tastes like a light milk tea, very diluted, no flavor whatsoever. I honestly don’t get Boba Tea Protein’s descision here. It’s unfortunate because people love Vietnamese coffee for that strong coffee taste. To now taste like nothing, it’s very disappointing.

Daily Staple

Vietnamese Coffee protein is mandatory in my house! I add it to cold coffee and almond milk every morning to start my day of teaching, and it keeps me full since my lunch isn't until almost 1pm. I have been using Boba Tea Protein for over 2 years now and enjoy many flavors, but some are more dependent on mood. Coffee is a win every day!
