Great Support
A great machine with even better support. Brian with technical support was super helpful and I will be a repeat customer for sure

NIce but not a Jura Giga 5.
I bought this because our Jura Giga 5 needs to go in for service. We have talked a few times about getting a back up. Turn around is at least 3 weeks. We couldn’t go that long after getting use to an espresso machine. First world problem. The Gaggia is good for the purpose we want but it is no Jura Giga 5 and we don’t expect it to be at 1/10 th of the price. The water reservoir is very small, and seems to always run out. The drip pan need to be emptied frequently and if you let it get too full it will splash water everywhere. The bean hopper doesn’t hold much and can’t be removed. If you want to change beans you have to vac it out. The highest water temp for the coffee isn’t very hot. It may be the correct temperature but I like hotter coffee. Things that I do like is you can service the brew head. You can buy the water filters rather cheap and they last a long time. The descaling seems to be rather easy and doesn’t need to be done very often according to the instructions. It is a fairly easy machine to operate once you get familiar with it. We haven’t tried any of the milk type drinks as we mostly drink Americanos so I can’t comment on them. I miss the two bean containers that the Jura has as we have one filled with regular coffee and the other decafe. We can then chose what we want or a blend of both. The hoppers are also removable so the beans can be changed out easily. For the cost that we paid the machine is better and cheaper to operate than one that uses coffee pods. If we didn’t have the Jura we would probably be satisfied with this one. We bought it from Whole Latte Love. Had great service, fast delivery and they were very helpful to set it up. Highly recommend them. Watch all of the videos first.

Needs attention for future design
I have owned Gaggia Anima early on decided to go in a different direction with model. The only issue I think that needs addressed is the reservoir is much to much shallow when pulling out to drain it leaves water all under the unit and with the small small opening to have it go further into the front of the reservoir to to small so filling the reservoir with just one cup needing to be emptied and still very very carefully doing so to keep water from going all under the unit.
