Comparison Lechtrum 1917
Context: 1. I use a medium nib from the Pilot Metropolitan 2. Ink used, African gold (somewhat wet) and Black Velvet (dark but quick drying) The Lechtrum 1917 journal had bleed through twice as much as the Clairfontaine journal. I would not recommend this journal with my setup. The African Gold did bleed through on the Clairfontaine paper but livable. Maybe 5-7 spots on the other side of the paper. After writing on both sides you can tell of some markings but it is really nothing bothersome. The Black Violet had half as many bleed through spots as the African Gold. I would buy the Clairfontaine notebook again.

First Clairefontaine, very nice!
The quality is just as I had read and heard elsewhere. My other favorite is Maruman Mnemosyne, the two are neck-and-neck, and I may end up deciding the Clairefontaine is slightly preferable to the Mnemosyne.

Great pen and cool coozie
The vanishing point is not only an awesome pen that writes superbly, but is also very handy while on the go! I thought the clip might bother me, but after a day or two I don’t even notice it! The coozie looks cool and is high quality craftsmanship! Great for keeping your pens safe and organized!
