Smooth & lovely

I used Clairefontaine paper in grade school and was so thrilled to find it again. I like the plain paper cover on these notebooks, and the smooth paper. Perfect for fountain pens.

My Favorite

I have never used a better paper for a fountain pen than is in the Clairefontaine Basic Notebook. (I am using an Opus 88 Omar with a broad #6 JoWo loaded with Diamine Red Dragon.) There is no feathering and very little bleedthrough even with a wet writer like the Omar. The page count makes the notebook substantial without being clunky. This notebook is well made and well priced.
