Great for a first pen!

I did have to look up online how to put the cartridge in but wow it's this pen smooth. I have struggled with my handwriting since I was a kid and I was worried that I'd struggle with this but if anything it's better now. Very excited to write some letters with this!

Good pilot ink

I use this ink in a Pilot Plumix with Stub nib. The flow is good . There is a little shading . The ink drys fairly quickly
