Fabulous, Relaxed & SO Comfortable!
This shirt is a real treat to sew. The instructions are amazing and very easy to follow. A tip for newcomers to PE patterns, follow the Fit Steps in the Tutorial and you will not be disappointed. I have made 2 Shorelines now, the first is a layering piece over a tank and shorts. The 2nd one I went up a size and made it into a beach coverup with a very loud and bright rayon. Couldn't miss me on the beach, I was like a neon sign lit up at night lol. I have plans to make a couple more for our colder winters but using a light flannel shirting for layering. FAB pattern! Thanks PE! :)

If your short move up the flats (and pockets) :)
I just finished my first PE pattern, the Shoreline/dolman top. And I chose the short version. That's perfectly fine. Except that next time I'll use the markings on the pattern to raise the flaps and pockets. Just a tip for those who aren't very tall. I'd love to make another one and apply what I've learned. I was under the impression that the short version was "safe” pocket wise. I love that there are different options for length, sleeves, pockets, and how to wear this garment. I love how these cleverly designed patterns can be worn by so many different body shapes. It's so fun and helpful to see how Kate demonstrates how to style the finished garments.

Still working on my style :)
Having complete success with the Rise & Shine, Be Mine, & All In tops, I ventured into the Shoreline. For my wearable muslin, I sized down one size based on finished measurements and amount of ease. I tried the V-neck and confirmed it is not a style for me. (Small, high bust- *ok, tiny bust* - long thin neck...). I used a rayon twill which wasn't as drapey as I would like. The next one will be a round/high neck and different fabric(linen-viscose?). Oh yes, there will be a next one! The drafting is amazing, and the top is easy to wear. The make was not a failure however, I style it with a necklace and a decorative scarf to fill in the neck, and all is good!
