Love My Low Kicker!
I'm finally writing a review, as it took me a while to get my low kicker set up just the way I wanted...but I think it's nearly there. I was nervous about building this up from the frame because of it being a "low trail" bike...but it handles great. I tend to front-load it, but also have a rack for the rear that I'll use if necessary, and it works great with a load on either front or back. I set it up with Crazy Bars and a 2x Shimano Cues drivetrain for range. Note that when they say you can use fender with up to 48mm smooth tires, they mean smooth! I have the Velo Orange Wavy Fenders on this bike. It took some time to get there. I tried the Rene Herse 48mm Juniper Ridge tires but they would not work with the fenders. The 42mm Pumpkin Ridge tires looked anemic (in my opinion) with the fenders. The 45mm Pirelli Gravel M tires are great on road and gravel and work with the fenders. The top tube isn't quite low enough to be a true "step through," but enough for me, that I generally step over the top tube now. I wanted something I could wear, sometimes, with a skirt, and something where I could step over the top tube if I put something on top of a rear rack...and this is that. I'm really glad, now that I built up this bike. After going through a bunch of other bikes, I think this one's a "keeper."

Inblubidible is her name!
This is the first bike that I have ever built. She is meant to take me into the latter half of my life with class while laying down miles around town, river paths, and rail trails. She is loaded with VO parts enhancing her upright comfort and aesthetic appeal. I've put around 500 miles on her so far and everything is sublime. I'd like to give a big "Thanks" to Ammon who patiently answered all my questions providing sage advice through several calls and emails. I'm now a "restamalife" fan and customer. In fact, I just got in a VO 2x crankset today going on my next project.

This is a very well thought out bike frame
The bike frame has the nicest paint work that I have seen.. looks like a high end paint finish from the 70s. Very nice put 12 speed on the bike.
