Perfect pattern
My grandson requested a Domo kun ushanka. Once I'd Googled it and realised the only purchase options were cheaply made from China, I decided to make one. The pattern and instructions were perfect. My seam allowances were a bit off so made the lining a bit smaller. I may not make one in fleece again (not the easiest to unpick 😆) but that's me not the pattern! Grandson was happy with it as you can see.

Aviator Hat...another wonderful pattern!
I finished my first ever Aviator hat yesterday...started with the XL so I can gauge what head sizes I will need going forward. This pattern is the same as other Twig and Tale patterns...so well thought out and taught via the tutorial...that it was a real pleasure to make! I used denim scraps along with a light fleece lining and it came out SO cute, even in this big size. I am making one each for 11 family members with various outer accumulated scraps from upholstery, velour, canvas, denim and wool projects, with a thicker fleece lining. I will post some pix when I get further along ;)

Aviator hat
great pattern, easy to follow, already planning to make more. I used a minky fleece and cotton canvas, I did break one needle on the seam going round the bottom section where it met the seam coming down from the crown, but i changed for a larger needle and went slowly when i came to the seam and it was fine.
