Trailblazer Vest Sewing Pattern - Men's/Straight Fit

Great as always !

As usual, a great pattern, size inclusive and very detailed instructions. I made a wind flap version for my dad, from some sturdy fabric and an old duvet. He loved it. I would like to say that the pattern could be updated for more clarity in the quilted pieces part (you should cut your back in one piece if you are doing a quilted version of the vest and not cut two different parts for the top and the body of the back). Apart from that, it is amazing as always and the construction is clever and clearly explained ! Thank you again T&T for the great pattern, I will make it again !

Best vest?

Pattern itself could be better. Looked at the size based of body measurements. Printed that one then looked at finished garment measurements. I could have fit my son and I in it and still had room. 4 sizes down would be an appropriate amount of ease if looking at finished garment measurements. So many pages to print. Then an hour to cut the sides off. Roll of tape too. Really don’t understand why people like pdf patterns. Would have saved paper and time to just sell a big printed paper pattern. I will get to seeing and cross my fingers that sizing works out.
