Nice machine and great customer service

Overall the Anima is good starter machine for the cost. The refurbished machine we bought ended up being fine and has been keeping up and operating well. I would like to see the water reservoir be re-engineered a bit more sturdy but it functions as it should you just have to be careful with it. I do like the compact look and style of the machine as well. Whole Latte Love was very good about online instructional videos and good customer service on a few questions I had. I’m satisfied and will definitely recommend them to friends in the future. Thank you!

First super automatic machine purchase

This is my first super automatic espresso machine after years of using a Nespresso or a French press with a blade grinder. I read great reviews about this model, and the refurbished option made the switch more budget-friendly. The machine is incredibly easy to use, especially with WLL’s helpful instructional video playlist. I’ve now calibrated it to brew my espressos and lungos just the way I like, using my highly-prized beans I brought back from a coffee tour in Colombia. I appreciate that this machine does exactly what I need—nothing more, nothing less—at great value. Its compact size fits perfectly under my cabinets, and maintenance is a breeze. At two coffees per day, I only need to empty the puck and drip tray once a week. With my soft municipal tap water, I don’t need a filter, and I don’t expect the need for frequent descaling. While I’m still honing my milk frothing skills (my drinks aren’t very pretty), they’re delicious. I only wish I’d made the switch sooner! I hope this refurbished Gaggia Anima will hold up and treat me well for years to come.
