Good experience. Quick turn around. Seeds germinated and produced well.

Great eggplant for northern growers
This is an interesting eggplant. I tried it hoping it would produce well in my less than optimal ( for slow-growing, heat-loving plants) conditions in Maine. I started the seeds indoors early and gave them all the light and warmth I could. They germinated reliably but developed very, very slowly. By mid summer they were still unimpressive and I was going to write them off as a failure, but mid to late summer they took off and developed into large, bushy plants with a large number of flowers. Productivity was good with 4- 8 eggplants per plant, and they kept producing right up until frost. Eggplants are baseball to softball sized. Flesh is milder flavored than other varieties but very rich and creamy. If you're an eggplant lover growing in northern locations I would recommend trying.
