Excellent
These turnips were my favorite item in my spring garden. I live in zone 5A and we have had a very rainy, cloudy Spring. I planted these in Mid-May in a twelve-inch raised bed and harvested them the first week of July. I will plant them earlier next spring to avoid sharing the leaves with insects. Excellent germination. The turnips are very mild (and very pretty) and the greens cook up nicely. These are great for a raised bed--they take up little space, dig nicely in my somewhat compacted soil, and the leaves grow upright. My turnips were about one inch wide and six inches long. I can't wait to plant them for the fall. Definitely buying more of these seeds.
