Oaxacan corn
I've ordered this seed corn several times and grown it in my garden. It germinates well, grows well in Indiana, and after I harvest it, dry it to grind into enough cornmeal to last for a couple years. I do save the seed until it crosses accidentally with neighboring field corn. It's an heirloom variety and a great producer.

Great Corn, green color not a big deal
I grew one pack of this in 2021. (About 8'x10') This was a good corn for my first dried corn. In 3" tilling of five year old cow manure, It grew 13 feet tall. Really good flavor. I can see the color of these heirloom corns varies somewhat. The green in this is plainly visible in bright daylight, but from a distance many of the ears look black, and they have other colors also. I am making cornmeal by the cup, using a cheap coffee grinder ($2 at a rummage sale.) The cornmeal is delicious. Have not tried nixtamalizing. I could see becoming a corn hobbyist. I'm very enthusiastic about growing a similar size patch on a regular basis, and having my own cornmeal. Looking forward to trying other varieties, selecting for color, replanting, etc.
